The University of Fort Lauderdale Eagles began with a club football program in 2016. Winning the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Championship.
2020-21 was the inaugural season for five Eagles varsity sports (Men’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Tennis).
UFTL is taking the next steps by adding eight more sports for the 2021-22 school year: (Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Cheerleading, Women’s Flag Football, Men and Women Track and Field, Softball, and Volleyball) driving our athletic department up to 14 sports.
UFTL has made the steps to move forward as we continue to grow. Heading into the fall of 2021, we have joined the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I South Region.
We are driven to provide collegiate student-athletes with the opportunity to have a 4-year collegiate education and the possibility to play competitive, organized collegiate sports and to improve their experience with Jesus Christ, our savior, continually.
Little by little, we are taking small steps to become a full-blown collegiate athletics department.
